FAQ
Is it really free?
Yes. Tracking, import, notifications, stats: everything is free and ad-free. An optional WatchTrail Plus tier will come later for extras, never for the essentials.
What exactly gets imported?
Your watched episodes (with watch dates), your followed shows — including the ones you never started, which land in “to watch” — and your movies, watched and to-watch. WatchTrail recomputes everything else: per-show progress, statuses, statistics, yearly recap.
What if some shows are not recognized?
The import resolves each show by its exact ID (TheTVDB to TMDB), not just by title. The rare unrecognized ones are listed at the end so you can add them manually.
Can I leave if I change my mind?
Yes: your data is yours — export it or delete your account anytime from your profile.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes, WatchTrail is an installable web app (PWA): Profile then Install WatchTrail, on Android and iPhone.
