Dans un futur très lointain, les humains ont abandonné la planète Terre pour aller dans le monde supérieur appelé "Tenjo". Mais Tenjo s'effondra suite à une guerre et les humains durent retourner sur la Terre, qui s'est transformée en une terre inhabitable pour l'Homme. Seul le territoire Shinshu est habitable, mais il est trop petit pour que tous les humains y vivent. Ils vont donc dupliquer ce territoire et créer "Juso Sekai" dans un monde parallèle. Dans le but de reconstruire "Tenjo", les humains décidèrent de reproduire leur histoire en commençant en 10 000 avant J. C. Mais en 1413, une guerre fut déclenchée à Shinshu et Juso Sekai tomba dans le monde originel. Les humains de Juso Sekai envahirent alors le monde originel et le territoire de Shinshu fut divisé par les envahisseurs. Arrivés en 1648, une rumeur selon laquelle l'apocalypse serait proche commence à se répandre.
