From November 9 to 15, 2026, two seasons open, one season finale lands and five followed shows continue their season, for eight releases and no film. [Le Seigneur des anneaux : Les Anneaux de pouvoir](/show/84773-le-seigneur-des-anneaux-les-anneaux-de-pouvoir) launches its season 3 in one block, while [Grey's Anatomy](/show/1416-grey-s-anatomy) carries on with its own.
Is the return of Shetland worth it?
Shetland opens its season 11 on Canal+ with episode 1 (S11E1), with no release day announced. The show holds a TMDB rating of 7.5/10. For anyone who followed the previous ten seasons, it is the easiest entry point of the week: a first episode, so nothing in this season to catch up on before diving back in. No season summary is available yet, so you will discover the story at the same pace as everyone else.
And the others?
Amazon Prime Video carries most of the rest. Le Seigneur des anneaux : Les Anneaux de pouvoir opens its season 3 there on Wednesday, November 11, starting with S3E1, and all 4 episodes come out the same day. Chicago Fire continues its season 15 with episode 6, "Over the Edge", rated 8.4/10: the probies face their last day at Firehouse 51. NCIS : Enquêtes spéciales continues its season 24 with episode 5, "Speechless", also free on M6+, an option with no subscription: the team finds an 8-year-old girl hiding alone at home, her mother missing.
Elsewhere, three shows move on mid-season, each on its own platform. South Park reaches episode 5 of its season 29 on Paramount Plus. Grey's Anatomy continues its season 23 on Disney Plus with episode 5, "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)", where a house call goes wrong. FBI reaches episode 6 of its season 9 on SFR Play, "Ultimatum": highly radioactive material is stolen from a medical disposal facility and the team tracks the thief.
Ending this week
On Amazon Prime Video, Cat's Eyes wraps its season 2 with episode 8, "Une dernière nuit au musée" (S2E8), also free on TF1+, an option with no subscription. If you follow the show, this episode closes season 2: it can now be watched in full, in one go.
