From November 2 to 8, 2026, seven series are on the schedule: two seasons open, one season ends and four series carry on with theirs. [Black Doves](/show/225385-black-doves) returns all at once on Netflix, while [Les Simpson](/show/456-les-simpson) continue their season 38 on Disney Plus.
Is the return of Black Doves worth it?
Black Doves opens a new season on Thursday, November 5 on Netflix, and all 6 episodes drop the same day, starting with « Black Door ». The series holds a TMDB rating of 7.0/10. This is not a first season: if you followed the previous one, you pick the story up where you left it, without waiting from one week to the next. The whole season is available at once, so you set your own pace from release day.
And the others?
L'Assassin is also setting up a new season on HBO Max, through a recap episode that catches you up before it starts. On Canal+, Dexter : Resurrection reaches episode 2 of season 2 (S2E2, « Fallen »), rated 8.6/10: a serial killer captivates New York and an unexpected ally complicates the next hunt. Tulsa King moves on over on Paramount Plus with episode 4 of season 4, « Square One », on Friday, November 6.
Two more series continue their current season. Les Simpson bring episode 6 of season 38 to Disney Plus (S38E6, « The Kosmic Kruiser »), where a failed Krustyland attraction turns out less abandoned than expected. Alex Hugo continues season 11 on SFR Play with episode 5, « La vallée des oubliées », where one disappearance uncovers other unsolved ones in the same valley.
Ending this week
On Canal+, Blue Lights closes season 4 with episode 6, « The Line » (S4E6), its finale. For anyone following the show, this is the last episode of the season: a good moment to catch up on missed episodes before starting it.
